Parks & Recreation Update

At the City of Abbeville’s August 17th Council meeting, the council voted to seek out a $3 million revenue bond with the State of Louisiana to make much needed upgrades to AA Comeaux Park. Some of these upgrades include upgraded concessions, turfed fields and asphalt parking. All of these are indicated on the map shown. These upgrades will bring tournaments and visitors to our city. This in turn will elevate our economy as well as bring business associated appeal to our city. Check out photos of the process below. Currently registration is open for T-Ball, Softball, and Baseball from January 27 to March 7, 2022.
