Youth Curfew Goes Into Effect May 4th

Looking ahead to summer, the City of Abbeville has revised the curfew for minors inside the city limits. Revised Ordinance #23-06; Article IV, Chapter 13, Sec. 13-46 of the Abbeville Code of Ordinances states that anyone below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. from Sunday through Thursday and from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. from Friday through Saturday within the city of Abbeville. There can be penalties applied to parents of minors found in violation of this curfew. To read the full ordinance, click here.

We understand that youth in our community may be traveling to and from school events and work, these incidents will not be considered violations. Working together we can keep our community safe.

Third Party Payment Site
