Abbeville main street

Abbeville is a Louisiana Main Street Community and is accredited by Main Street America. The Main Street program is economic development with a foundation in historic preservation. The Main Street Four-Point Approach® was created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in an effort to revive historic downtown commercial districts. The program offers training and resources for developing and maintaining a vibrant, sustainable community.
