The City of Abbeville is committed to a fair, open, and transparent procurement process. Current bid opportunities, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) will be advertised in accordance with applicable Louisiana public bid laws and requirements.
Public notices are published in the Meridonialas required. Current bid opportunities and bid documents can be viewed electronically through Central Bidding.
Interested contractors, vendors, and service providers are responsible for reviewing each solicitation for project requirements, submission instructions, deadlines, and required documentation.

Surplus Equipment Sale – November 24, 2026
The City of Abbeville is accepting sealed bids for surplus vehicles and equipment declared no longer needed for City operations. Items will be sold to the highest bidder, subject to the City’s right to reject any bid.
