BUILDING PERMITS
WHEN DO I NEED A BUILDING PERMIT?
A homeowner or business is required to apply for a building permit before construction begins on a home or business. This includes, but is not limited to, new construction, additions, renovations, moving a structure (mobile home, shed, etc.), installing a generator, and/or boring.Â
OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE
WHEN DO I NEED AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE?
Occupational licenses are required when opening a business within the Abbeville City limits. This includes but is not limited to, storefront business, online business, door-to-door sales, etc.
Please complete all applications before submitting application. All paperwork should be uploaded when applying online.Â
ADDITIONAL PERMITS
WHAT ADDITIONAL PERMITS COULD I NEED?
A golf cart permit is required to drive a golf cart within city limits.
